"The Balance of Things"

This was a oil pastel painting I worked on over the summer.  I took a 40 x 30" illustration board and cut it in half.  The two sides are meant to go together but each side could stand alone as independent pieces.  


My inspiration came from beautiful sunsets I have seen and my desire to create a study of color.  This is the first large project I have completed with oil pastels.
